About IRIS Primary

Happy child

Welcome to IRIS Adapt Primary - the first fully customisable online behaviour and rewards management software for primary schools.

IRIS Behaviour Monitoring has been used by secondary schools around the country for years, but now a brand new version of this leading behaviour software has been developed specifically for primary schools. IRIS Adapt Primary is exceptionally easy to use and has been developed in active collaboration with teachers in schools.

Re-vamp your class and school rewards - IRIS Adapt Primary includes a fully featured, easy to use rewards facility. No more counting of stickers or paper slips, IRIS will tally reward points by class, year group, house or individual pupil automatically at the click of a mouse.

IRIS Adapt Primary is a web-based solution, so there is nothing to be loaded onto your network or school computers, nothing for you to manage and nothing to go wrong at your end. No special equipment is required; as long as you can access the internet, you can use IRIS Primary.

Ofsted January 2012 Inspections Framework

Man with Clipboard

Are you ready for the new Ofsted January 2012 inspections framework?

From January 2012 inspectors will be focusing more sharply on those aspects of schools' work that have the greatest impact on raising achievement. This will involve an increase in the proportion of inspectors' time spent observing teaching and gathering evidence of learning, progress and behaviour.

Behaviour in your school may be good, but do you have the data to back it up?

A key change for 2012 will be this sharper focus on pupils' behaviour in class and around school. Schools will need to demonstrate how they ensure consistent and systematic management of behaviour.

IRIS Adapt Primary provides all the tools and data you need to satisfy Ofsted's requirements in terms of monitoring and analysing pupil behaviour.

The new Ofsted evaluation schedule requires schools to monitor behaviour patterns more closely; in particular in relation to groups of pupils; for example how girls compare to boys, how one year group compares to another. Also to be able to show whether a particular group of pupils, e.g. SEN, FSM, LAC, is disproportionately represented in the behaviour statistics. IRIS is optimised to present this type of analysis.
